Anobii wishes you all a very merry Christmas
Twas the night before Christmas,
And all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring
Not even a mouse.
I’d finished my book
And turned off the light,
Head on the pillow
My eyes were shut tight.
All of a sudden,
I heard a page turn,
The book i’d just finished
Had started to burn.
An elderly man
Of six feet or more,
Entered the room
But not through the door.
A sack in one hand
Piece of coal in the other,
‘Hmm, naughty or nice?’
I heard him consider.
With over thirty reviews
Of books marked as finished,
With points for being helpful
The coal just diminished.
With a smile on my face
I saw the shelf heave
My wish list delivered
Why wouldn’t you believe?
Anobii wishes you all a very merry Christmas.
